Cedar City Heritage Theater/Festival Hall
The Festival Hall/Heritage Theater complex provides a versatile facility perfect for conferences and gatherings that includes a 1,000 seat theater. The Grand Lobby provides excellent and convenient exhibit space. Beneath the theater is the Explorers Room which can serve as a large meeting and dining space or separated into four smaller rooms. The connected Festival Hall building provides a ground floor registration area and a series of meeting and exhibit rooms on the second floor. Rooms vary in size and can be opened into one large meeting space. A handsome tower executive meeting room is available for board meetings. There are two kitchens located in the complex, one to serve the Theater portion and provide concession space, as well another warming kitchen to serve the Festival Hall portion of the complex. Festival Hall does not have on site food services so that meeting planners can utilize the caterer of their choice. Festival Hall also allows alcohol for private functions. An experienced, professional staff is available to ensure proper set up and technical support as requested. The convention complex is equipped with a wide variety of audio visual equipment and computer services and free high speed Wi-Fi. The complex also features a convenient downtown location close to several dining and lodging options within walking distance.

Haze Hunter Conference Center (Southern Utah University Campus)
Constructed around the building’s stunning “Great Hall,” the Center has a variety of rooms that provide excellent meeting and dining space. Especially suitable for bringing together leaders in government, business, industry and academia, the Center has advanced technological amenities throughout the building. Showcasing the beautiful two-story stained glass windows, the Center can accommodate groups of up to 350 people. As an on-campus facility, the Hunter Conference Center enjoys the full support of the Southern Utah University Food Services Department. The Hunter Conference Center has an extensive inventory of audiovisual equipment, in addition to on-site technicians to set up and service the equipment.
The Hunter Conference Center is staffed by professional coordinators who ensure that room setups are as ordered, and who are available throughout the event to assist with any needs that arise.

Sharwan Smith Convention Center (Southern Utah University campus)
The Sharwan Smith Center offers the largest combined meeting space under one roof in Cedar City. The 10,000 square foot ballroom and surrounding meeting rooms offer a southwestern ambiance and provide excellent exhibit, meeting and dining space. The six meeting rooms, plus a lobby area, vary in size from 800 to 3,000 square feet, and are available for breakouts or smaller event functions. In addition, the SUU Centrum Arena can be accessed by an enclosed walkway from the Smith Center for combined large group events and exhibits . the Sharwan Smith Center is centrally located on the beautifully landscaped campus of Southern Utah University. As an on-campus facility, the Sharwan Smith Center enjoys the full support of the University Food Services Department. While there are no lodging facilities at the Sharwan Smith Center, lodging can be accommodated at nearby motels, some of which are within easy walking distance of the Smith Center. A full array of audiovisual equipment and technicians can be arranged through the University's media center. Technicians and top-line equipment are also available to customize your sound system needs. The Smith Center also has the capability to support computer and satellite links to assist in internet and teleconferencing applications.

Summit Chateau Lodge
Summit Chateau Lodge is just off the beaten path from the Brian Head Resort community and is the perfect alpine hideaway for corporate retreats, family reunions and intimate weddings. Summit features a main cabin with a great room and a large deck with fantastic views of the mountains and aspen forest. The main cabin also has 12 bedrooms each with its own bathroom and shower plus a bunk house with nine bunk beds and shared restroom and laundry facility. The main cabin features a sauna, commercial kitchen, BBQ grills, guest laundry and game tables. On the grounds are 15 Yurts which have there own bath house complete with restroom and shower facilities and an on site gym/workout facility for you to stay fit. (A Yurt is a large, round doomed structure built around a wooden frame with a wood floor). Summit can comfortably accommodate 75 sleeping guests.

SUU Mountain Center
Groups looking for a slower pace will appreciate the peaceful surroundings of the Southern Utah University Mountain Center. Located just minutes from downtown Cedar City on Highway 14, the Mountain Center is easily accessible the year around and has parking space to accommodate large groups. This 6,000 square foot facility includes spacious meeting rooms, and pavilions, indoor and outdoor cooking facilities, a large kitchen, and five bedrooms, plus a roomy loft. Situated on a 2,800 acre ranch, the Mountain Center also offers a secluded amphitheater suitable for open-air presentations in a beautiful alpine setting.
The Mountain Center is truly an uncommon meeting place...a secluded world apart, a private place free of city distractions, yet expertly supported by the SUU Conference Services staff. In short, this facility is the perfect year-round setting for maximum workshop focus, informal retreats, or private gatherings.

Cross Hollows Multi Purpose Center
The Center consists of the indoor Diamond Z Arena and the Iron Ranger Outdoor Arena and is situated in Cross Hollow just west of Cedar City. The facility is equipped with bucking chutes for the outdoor arena and a 300 x 320 foot warming barn with concession stands and 100 stalls for horse boarding. The outdoor arena is 160 x 300 and has bleacher seating for up to 2,500. The indoor facility has bleacher seating for 300.

Iron County Fairgrounds (Parowan)
The Iron County Fairgrounds and Equestrian Complex in Parowan features an outdoor rodeo arena (300 x 145) with covered grandstands, a practice or warm-up arena (200 x 100), a covered pavilion with concession stand, a race track, horse stables, grassy areas and large parking areas. The complex also features a large exhibit building with a 90 x 70 exhibit area, restroom facilities and a full kitchen. The equestrian complex is available for event activities such as rodeos, mud bogging competitions, outdoor and indoor concerts, horse shows and races, product exhibitions, festival events, weddings, family reunions, and business parties.

Three Peaks Recreation Area
The rolling hills and volcanic rock formations at Three Peaks provide a fantastic location for picnicking, camping, bike riding and off- road vehicle use. Three Peaks features several picnic area and camping areas (first come-first served basis) with tables, fire rings and restroom facilities. There’s also a large parking area with a gated entrance for large groups and events. Two covered pavilions are available for group gatherings. These pavilions need to be reserved in advance. Three Peaks is located 10 miles west of Cedar City.

Woods Ranch Recreation Area
Just 12 miles east of Cedar City along scenic highway U-14, is the recreation area known as Woods Ranch. Operated by Iron County, the park is designed to be a high country haven for the Iron County residents and their friend’s to enjoy. Situated in a lush aspen and pine forest, Woods Ranch is a great place to picnic, hike and fish. Kid’s Pond, a popular fishing spot for the southern Utah ’s youth is located on the upper section of recreation area. Woods Ranch has picnic tables, fire rings, restroom facilities, and a volleyball court. Two covered pavilions are available for group gatherings when reserved in advance. Overnight camping is not permitted at Woods Ranch, however, the Cedar Canyon Campground is located nearby. Contact the Dixie National Forest for camping information at 435-865-3200.
