New American Playwrights Project Held in conjunction with the Utah Shakespearean Festival in the Auditorium Theater (300 W University Blvd, Cedar City) at 10am. Admission is $8 per play or $21 for the entire series. Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Office, 800-752-9849, or the door. Come discover a new play when Festival actors and artists present their plays as a stage reading followed by an instructive discussion between the playwright, actors, and audience.
This year the Playwrights Project will feature two poetic dramas about classic figures and one comedy about the struggles facing American Catholic families today. These featured works are by Matthew Ivan Bennett from Salt Lake City, TJ Edwards from Brooklyn, NY, and David Rush from Carbondale, IL.
